Liam Garvey had a nine year career as a professional. This jersey is from his last full season in North America.
(Garvey played five games in the UHL during the 2002-03 season.) While serving as an alternate captain
(detail of "A" on left chest) for the Rafales,
Garvey contributed 9 goals and 21 assists to go along with 75 PIMs.....
This jersey has good wear, mainly stick marks on the lower white section of the jersey body.
There is one large (4"+) repair in the back of the jersey and the neck line has most of the stitching popped
(view from inside jersey).
The back hem of the jersey has the usual Bauer and IHL logos
as well as the Professional Hockey Players Association 30th anniversary patch which was worn on the jerseys of many
teams in 1997-98....
Jersey numbers (including one on the front hem) are single color sewn twill with a second color twill edging.
The name (on arched nameple) is also single color twill.....
