Michigan Tech Huskies (WCHA)

The jersey has good wear with stick marks and board burns throughout the jersey..... Bauer Prowear and size 56 flag tagging in the neck..... Bauer logo on the back hem..... WCHA logo on the right chest..... Back numbers, sleeve numbers, and name (on nameplate) are all done in two color sewn twill..... This set of jerseys did not have shoulder logos, however they did feature a twill MTU with embroidered gold edging on the elbows..... The previous owner had the jersey autographed by Craig following a game after she had won the jersey in a Michigan Tech Blue Line Club raffle..... Obtained from a private collector in October 1999.

This jersey is a rare stroke of luck in our collection. As hard as it is to get one MTU jersey of a former player, having both jerseys of a given style is near impossible as most players only wear two jerseys of a given style during their time at Michigan Tech..... This was the first set of home jerseys with the "MTU" shoulder patches. The previous set has a larger "MTU" on the elbows. Other subtle changes to this set of jerseys include a single thickness gold neck, the BAUER patch embroidered on the back hem was outlined with silver only. The previous set had a two color gold/silver outline around the patch..... During the 1995-96 season, color coordinating patches were worn to celebrate the 75th season of MTU hockey. At the end of the season, all of the patches from the home, road, and alternate jerseys were removed as most of the jerseys were recycled in following seasons. When this jersey was photographed, one of the white patches was laid on the jersey loose over the place where it had been located during the 1995-96 season..... Obtained from a private collector in March 2006.
