Michigan Tech Huskies

  • 1990-91
  • Size XL Hooters mesh
  • Neck tagging detail
  • Hooters logos on hem & body seam
  • WCHA patch on right chest
  • A great classic Huskies jersey from the early 1990s with plenty of wear. Six team repairs on the right sleeve alone and another half dozen repairs throughout the jersey..... Back numbers, sleeve numbers, front numbers, and name (on nameplate) are all done in two color sewn twill. The nameplate is a tight knit material where as the rest of the jersey is an open mesh knit..... Obtained from a private collector in November 2000.

    Michigan K-Wings (IHL)

  • 1996-97
  • Size 56 Bauer knit
  • Bauer and IHL logos on hem
  • Left-winger Jim Storm played parts of three seasons with the Hartford Whalers and Dallas Stars in the 90s. He was decent goal scorer who enjoyed most of his success in college and the minors. The native of Milford, Michigan was taken 75th overall by Hartford in 1991 after a solid freshman year with Michigan Tech. He accumulated 63 goals in three years with the Huskies before playing 68 games as a rookie in 1993-94. He was eventually returned to the minors and filled a similar role after signing with the Dallas Stars. His best year was 1996-97 when he scored 25 goals for the IHL's Michigan K-Wings (Bio courtesy of Legends of Hockey)..... Jersey shows good wear for a road jersey with lots of stick marks and board burns. There is also heavy pilling inside both sleeves just below the elbows.... Numbers are three color sewn twill and name (on nameplate) is single color heat press vinyl..... Obtained from a private collector in January 2007.
